Ex-LPD Officer Charged with Sexual Penetration of Minor in Clovis

Former Lubbock Police Officer Blake Littlejohn, 41, was arrested in Clovis, New Mexico this week on a charge of criminal sexual penetration of a minor.

The case was investigated by the Curry County Sheriff’s Office.

An online court docket indicated the victim was less than 13 years old.  That same docket said the allegation dates back to December of 2012.

Littlejohn was able to post bond to get out of jail pending a trial date.

According to easternnewmexiconews.com, “He told investigators that he ‘accidentally’ touched the girl’s groin area while tickling her but said he did not touch her under her clothing.”

In 2005, Littlejohn pleaded guilty to harassment in Lubbock County.  He was originally accused of violating the civil rights of a person in custody.  Specifically, the charge was based on a 2004 allegation that Littlejohn asked a woman for a sexual favor in exchange for not writing her a traffic citation.

Littlejohn served one year of probation in Lubbock for the harassment charge.  He also resigned from Lubbock Police.
