First responders including the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a deadly one-vehicle rollover crash Monday evening near mile-marker 9 of Interstate 27.
The main-lanes were shut down for the crash.
DPS said one person was dead at the scene. DPS also said more information would be released in the morning.
The crash was reported before 9:15 pm. A volunteer fire department and Lubbock Fire Rescue were asked to respond because the vehicle caught fire after it crashed.
