LUBBOCK, Texas — Occupants of the Mahon Federal Building in Downtown Lubbock were briefly evacuated just before 9:30 a.m. for a fire alarm. They were allowed back in a few minutes later.
A photojournalist for everythinglubbock.com was next door at the Lubbock County Courthouse at the time. He learned at the scene that the fire alarm was set off by someone cooking.
