AUSTIN, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott thanked Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center on Twitter Sunday for helping to increase COVID-19 testing in Texas.
TTUHSC was Texas’ first laboratory to offer testing for coronavirus.

On Monday, Abbott decided to let Texas’ stay-at-home order expire, permitting the state’s restaurants, malls and movie theaters to reopen at 25 percent capacity.
