HALE COUNTY, Texas — Hale County announced one new case of COVID-19 on Saturday, along with four new recoveries.
After Saturday’s new case, the county is up to 44 total confirmed cases. Of those, 33 have recovered, seven are active and four have died.
Hale County has administered 544 tests for the virus. Fifteen results are pending, and 499 tests came back negative.
