HALE COUNTY, Texas — The COVID-19 case count in Hale County continued to rise on Saturday, as nine new cases were announced by the county.
With the new cases, the city now has 85 total cases: 55 have recovered, 25 are active and five patients have passed away.
Of the 1,270 tests administered in the county, 63 came back positive. Forty-three cases were transmitted locally, 28 were transmitted outside of the county and the remaining cases are indeterminate.
