Breedlove Foods, Inc. is in need of an artist to restore and preserve a historic mural on the west side of its building, 1818 N. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
The mural, which faces Loop 289, is more than 20 years old and has received wear and tear from the weather.
“You can tell when you get up close to it, you know with our sun and the wind images like that deteriorate over time, and its been there for 21 to 22 years,” Bill Miller, Breedlove Foods, Inc. CEO said.
Breedlove has delivered more than 2 billion servings of food around the world, and Miller says Breedlove is looking to revamp the logo on their building.
The airplane logo on the front of their building was Breedlove’s original logo.
Breedlove is searching for Lubbock-based artists.
