Hub City Veg Community, a local vegan non-profit organization, is hosting an Independence Day vegan potluck picnic in Maxey Park on Saturday, July 8 at 7:00 p.m. Vegans and omnivores alike are welcome to attend the potluck and bring a dish! All dishes should be plant-based and should not include meat, dairy, or eggs. Participants should bring a recipe for each dish. Admission to this event is free for all ages. Bring a blanket and some sunscreen and join Hub City Veg Community at Maxey Park, located at 30th Street and Nashville Avenue., for an Independence Day potluck picnic.
