If you are looking for a place to donate items or money for Hurricane Harvey victims here is a list of places that are accepting donations: 

Anton Bulldogs High School and Elementary: The two schools are raising funds for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. A collection will be taken at the Anton vs. Spur football game on September 1st at 7:30 p.m. in Anton. Next week, students will be encouraged to donate $1 or even some change. All the money collected will be donated to Houston Texans football player JJ Watt’s fundraiser for Hurricane Harvey victims. The school’s collection effort is called “Bulldogs Care!” The Anton Bulldogs also want to challenge all schools in West Texas to join them in raising funds for our friends along the coast. Many of the schools are small schools in small towns, but together they can make a big difference.

Main Event: Main Event locations are accepting non-monetary donations for victims of Hurricane Harvey from Friday, Sept. 1, through Monday, Sept. 4. Click HERE for more information. 

First Baptist Church: The church is raising money for Personal Assistance Kits (PAKs) for the storm victims. Each PAK costs $70. Even if you cannot give the full amount, any amount you give will be very helpful. The PAK is made up of several FEMA approved items that will expedite the process of recovery as the victims wait for support and financial compensation. Please give to First Lubbock by either checks or online donations for hurricane victims through Wednesday, September 6th at 5:00 PM. If you send a check to First Baptist Church, 2201 Broadway, be sure to have #FirstLubbock4Harvey in the memo line, and if you would like to donate online www.firstlubbock.org make sure you designate your donation as #FirstLubbock4Harvey under the giving type option.

4ORE Golf: 4ORE will serve as a donation collection site on Friday, September 1st from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Click HERE for more information. 

Vista College: Vista College campuses around the state are drop off locations for donations for Hurricane Harvey victims. They will be taking donations until Saturday at 4 p.m. Click HERE for more information. 

Affordable Self Storage: The company has multiple drop off places at their locations that are accepting donations of all kinds.

Mears Mazda: Mears Mazda will donate $100 from each car sold from now through the end of September to the Red Cross. For more information click HERE.

A-Plus Super Storage: The company has multiple drop off places at their locations that are accepting donations of all kinds.

  • 104th and Slide (806-798-8686)

Red Raider Outfitters: Four locations will have a Kettle Drive  with the Salvations Army from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday August 30, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Friday August 31, and 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday September 1. Red Raider Outfitters will also be collecting all proceeds for “Wreck Harvey” shirts sold and donating the money to Breedlove. Also, if you donate $20 a shirt will be given to a Texas Tech Student affected by Harvey and the donation will go to The Salvation Army to help the South Texas Disaster Relief. The four Red Raider Outfitter locations are:

St. Lukes United Methodist: The church will be accepting donations at their location at 98th in Frankford. Donations on Wednesday can be dropped off between 9 a.m. – noon and then 5-8 p.m. Donations on Thursday can be dropped off between 9 a.m. – noon. 

Lone Star Car Wash Systems: The location at 7320B 82nd is accepting donations to be taken to the Houston area on Sunday, September 3rd. Toiletries, baby supplies, non-perishable high protein snacks (easy to eat without preparation), and water bottles are all accepted. They said they will not be able to take any used clothing.

Camping World: Camping world is accepting clothing and hygiene items out front of their location. The CEO is also matching 100% of the proceeds donated at the register up to $2 million.

Guardian Security Solutions, L.C.:  The company is accepting any donations and will be taking trailers full of donations down on Friday morning. 

BuildRite Construction: The company is heading out on August 31st and will be accepting donations until then. They have trucks and trailers that can still hold more donations and are located at 906 FM 1585.

Emmanuel Worship Center: The church is assembling an emergency response team to aid in Hurricane Harvey in relief efforts. You can bring donations anytime between now and Sunday to the church. They have a designated church onsite drop-off location where these donations will be dropped off at 1102 70th St between 9am-3pm until Friday. The last day for you to donate will be this Sunday. All Saints Episcopal School, Classical Conversations of Lubbock, Grace Lubbock Homeschool Group, Kingdom Preparatory Academy, Lubbock Christian School, Sharp Academy, Southcrest Christian School, and Trinity Christian School: All of these schools are accepting donations until Thursday. They are asking for trash bags (lawn size, super duty strength), bleach, empty spray bottles, wet vacs, paper towels, water bottles, brooms/dust pans, dehumidifiers, squeegees, drywall saws, scoop shovels, pry bars/crow bars, hammers, dust masks, leather gloves, safety glasses, and utility knives. Lubbock Chamber of Commerce: The Chamber office is accepting donations on behalf of KING FM through Thursday at 5 p.m. Donations they are asking for are bottled water, batteries, flashlights, non-perishable food, diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, baby food, toiletries, hygiene products, clothing, pack n plays, ziploc bags, bleach, paper towels, disinfecting wipes, push brooms, clean up dust pans, rubber gloves, big garbage bag, bug spray, sunscreen, toilet paper, facial cleaning wipes, towels (new or gently used), new Bibles, insulated lunch bags and small coolers for medication and formula, and pet supplies: dog food, dog crates, dog bowls, cat food, etc.

King FM / Red Dirt Rebel: Items can also be donated from 6-7 p.m. on August 29th at Cook’s Garage at 114th and Highway 87, and at Nick’s at Overton at 2323 Mac Davis Ln August 31st from 7-9 p.m. For more information click HERE.

United Supermarkets: The United Family has pledged to match donations collected up to $10,000. Click HERE for more information.

Collision King: They will be accepting donations at their location from 7:30 am – 6 pm through Friday, September 1st. 

Cook’s Garage: Cook’s Garage will be taking donations until 10 a.m. August 30th. 

Bealls: Bealls locations in Hobbs, Lubbock, Levelland, Plainview, and Brownfield will be accepting any donations until Saturday. Click HERE for more information.

Lubbock Christian School: LCS is accepting work gloves to help with cleanup until the end of the business day on August 31st. Click HERE for more information. 

Remax of Lubbock: Donations will be accepted until Friday morning and should be dropped off at the office on South Loop 289 between Quaker and Slide. Donations needed are water, diapers, and toiletries.

Hockley County Sheriff’s Office: There are multiple places to drop off donations in Hockley County. The items asked for are water, non-perishable food, baby wipes, diapers, hygiene products, towels, blankets, pillows, bug spray, animal care items, and trash bags. The items are planned to be delivered on Wednesday, September 6th. Below are the drop off locations. 

Levelland:

Harmony Public Schools: Harmony Public Schools across the State of Texas are all collecting donations from the public. Donations of school supplies, clothing and shoes, personal hygiene products, towels, and blankets are all needed. Any Harmony Public School campus, including Lubbock, is a drop off location.
