Emergency crews responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident in Southeast Lubbock late Saturday morning.
The accident was reported just before 11:30 a.m. on Southeast Loop 289 near the Slaton Highway (U.S. Highway 84).
The Lubbock Police Department told EverythingLubbock.com that two injuries were reported in the accident, one serious and the other moderate.
The SUV rolled in the eastbound lanes and came to rest in the median, striking a light pole.
We’re told the light pole that was struck was blocking part of the highway.
The Lubbock Police Department shut down the eastbound lanes at the scene and was diverting traffic onto the Slaton Highway exit.
All eastbound lanes had reopened by 1:00 p.m.
