Lubbock Police said an inmate from the Lubbock County Detention Center was taken to a home in the 1900 block of 70th Street Friday afternoon to assist officers with the Zoe Campos case.
Campos went missing on November 17, 2013. A search warrant on Thursday authorized officers to search the home and property for blood, trace evidence and human remains.
Police did not name the inmate who was taken to the home. He was in handcuffs and an orange jump suit.He was there starting at about 3:00 pm Friday.

Police began a search of the home last week because of a tip. Police also recently searched a field to the southeast of 66th Street and Interstate 27.
So far, as of the time of this news report, no one has been charged with a crime related to Campos.
Police provided an updated brief statement:
“An individual in custody for charges not related to the Zoe Campos case was taken to the backyard of the home on 70th Street as part of the investigation. Our investigators continue to search the area.”
