The Internal Revenue Service on Friday filed a notice of appearance in the ongoing Reagor Dykes bankruptcy case. In other words, the IRS wants to be officially notified of new developments in the case.
“The IRS is a creditor and a party in interest,” the IRS wrote in court records.
Notices to the IRS do not replace notices to any other agency in the federal government.
A list of Reagor Dykes companies filed for bankruptcy on August 1. They were accused by Ford Motor Credit Company of defaulting on $40 million of a $116 million debt. Ford also accused Reagor Dykes of fraud.
