Congressman Jodey Arrington secured his seat Tuesday night, winning the race for District 19 in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Arrington defeated Democratic nominee Miguel Levario, according to unofficial cumulative results. With more than 90,000 votes cast in Lubbock County, constituents supported Arrington with 68.77 percent of votes.
According to the Texas Secretary of State election results, Arrington won with 75.06 percent of votes.
Arrington said he has several goals to accomplish in his second term and hopes to focus on issues like health care and agriculture.
