Classic rock group Kansas will perform a summer concert of their classic hits in Lubbock in late July.

The concert is scheduled for Tuesday, July 23 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Theater at 7:30 p.m.

Fans will hear songs they have enjoyed throughout the band’s 45 year career including such radio staples as “Carry On Wayward Son”, “Point of No Return”, “Play The Game Tonight” and Dust In The Wind.

The band originated in Topeka, Kansas in the early 1970s, pairing classical elements with rock ’n’ roll. 

Kanas is currently comprised of keyboardist Tom Brislin, original drummer Phil Ehart, bassist/vocalist Billy Greer, vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt, violinist/guitarist David Ragsdale, guitarist Zak Rizvi, and original guitarist Richard Williams.
