LUBBOCK, Texas — Surveillance video from the parking lot of KLBK shows someone matching the suspect description after the robbery of Metro PCS Tuesday morning across the street from the TV station.
Lubbock Police said two locations of Metro PCS were robbed about an hour apart including the location at 7412 University Avenue.
Initally, the suspect was described as a white male wearing a brown ski mask. Later, police provided an update, saying he was a black male. Police said he drove away going west in a gold or copper Chevy Trailblazer. The video seems to show the vehicle going west on 76th Street.
Police said the time was 11:07 a.m.
KLBK told Lubbock Police about the video. Use the video link above to see it. The video plays twice – the second time an arrow points out someone running to the Trailblazer before it takes off.
