The following is a news release from the City of Lubbock:
Beginning Monday October 15, 2018, the City of Lubbock with Guardian Utility will begin construction of a Water Main south of the intersection of North Quaker Avenue and Ursuline Street.
This project will affect traffic along North Quaker Avenue from Loop 289 to Clovis Highway. Multiple lanes north and south bound will be close in various phases. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible and to use extreme caution while driving in the construction.
