Lubbock-Cooper High School’s National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and Student Council will host “Halloween for Hunger,” their annual canned food drive to benefit South Plains Food Bank, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29. Students will collect non-perishable food items from the porches of homes in the neighborhoods listed below:

High Country
Highland Oaks
Holy Spirit Catholic Church neighborhood
Indiana South
Kemper Estates
LakeRidge South
Orchard Park
Saddle Club
South Haven
Stone Gate
Stonebrook
Sun Ridge
The Falls
Timber Ridge
Vintage Township
Windsor Park

Residents of the selected neighborhoods are asked leave non-perishable food items (no ramen noodles or glass jars) in a bag on their front porches. Due to time constraints, students are limited to picking up in the selected neighborhoods and will not be able to pick up from apartment complexes. Residents of neighborhoods not selected who still wish to donate can deliver donations to the Lubbock-Cooper High School front office.
