Lubbock Christian University (LCU) and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) held the spring commencement ceremonies on Friday and Saturday.
The ceremony for LCU graduate students was held Friday evening in the McDonald Moody Auditorium.
Dr. Julie Marshall, professor and chair in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Lubbock Christian University was the headline speaker for the graduate commencement.
The undergraduate ceremony was held at Saturday in the Rip Griffin Center.
Dr. Don Williams, LCU Professor of Communication and Theatre, was headline speaker for the undergraduate commencement Dr. Williams is an iconic professor completing fifty years of service to Lubbock Christian University.
The TTUSHC hosted their ceremony for students from the School of Nursing Friday morning at United Supermarkets Arena.
On Saturday, students from School of Health Professions and the Graduate School for Biomedical Sciences received their degrees.
The ceremonies were held at 10:00 a.m. in the United Supermarkets Arena and at 1:30 p.m. in the Allen Theatre.
