Lubbock Fire Rescue and Atmos Energy were dispatched to a gas leak in South Lubbock Monday morning.
The leak was reported just after 9:00 a.m. in the 3200 block of 93rd Street.
LFR said a gas line was cut by a utility crew installing new data lines in the alley.
Atmos Energy stopped the leak and then made repairs.
No structures in the area were evacuated and crews will continue to monitor the area.
