Lubbock Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire late Saturday afternoon that damaged two homes.
The incident was reported in the 5100 block of 41st Street just after 5:00 p.m.
According to LFR, units arrived on scene to find an active fire in the attic of two homes.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but the homes suffered heavy damage.
Authorities said three people were displaced. There were no reports of injuries.
The Lubbock Fire Marshal’s Office continues to investigate the cause of the fire.
