The following is a news release from Lubbock ISD:
The Lubbock ISD Board of Trustees named Misty Rieber as the new assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction at their meeting [Thursday] morning.
Rieber has been the leadership and professional development coordinator since 2014 and was the K-12 social studies coordinator from 2003-2014. Rieber was a teacher from 1995-2002 with assignments at Dunbar College Preparatory Academy and Estacado High School before serving as an assistant principal at O.L. Slaton Middle School from 2002-2003.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in history and education from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in educational administration from Lubbock Christian University. She is currently completing her superintendent’s certification.
