The Texas Department of Public Safety on Thursday said a second person died from a July 6 crash 2 miles west of Anton.
DPS said, “The other occupant, Darrel Johnson, 50, has passed away due to his injuries.”
DPS previously said Jessica Jeanette Comer, 37, of Lubbock was killed in the same crash.
Johnson, 50, of Littlefield was taken to University Medical Center after the crash. He was the driver of a pickup truck that overcorrected while changing lanes along U.S. Highway 84.
Both Comer and Johnson were ejected during the crash, DPS previously said.
