Carpet Tech will be sending 15 technicians to run 6 trucks and 1 semi in efforts to help restore the South Texas area flood damaged homes and businesses. The crew will be leaving on Thursday, September 7 and it is unknown when they will return.
“As soon as we knew that Hurricane Harvey was going to cause so much water damage to our fellow Texans, we’ve had one thing on our mind – let’s get to South Texas and help!” Said Chet Pharies, owner of Carpet Tech. “We do not typically serve that region but given our experience in flood damage restoration I know that our technicians need to be there to provide as many families as we can some relief, understanding, and help to restore their homes.” Pharies continued.
Carpet Tech specializes in fire and flood damage restoration. In addition to on-the-job experience, the Carpet Tech technicians have been certified and tested through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). The most experienced technicians will be pulled from all five of the company’s service locations including Lubbock, Amarillo, Collin County, Permian Basin, and Clovis, NM.
