A domestic disturbance at a residence Monday morning lead to a shooting that injured one person, according to Lubbock Police.
The incident was reported in the 3200 block of 68th Street around 8:20 a.m.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a male victim with a gunshot wound to the arm.
Police said the man had been shot by a female relative.
The victim was taken to Covenant Medical Center for treatment of what police later described as moderate injuries.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the Lubbock County Detention Center.
Authorities identified the woman Monday afternoon as Hayley Lynn Williams, 33.
Williams is charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The name of the victim has not been released at this time.
