LPD Publicly Identifies Victim in Deadly Hit & Run

Lubbock Police on Tuesday publicly identified the cyclist who lost his life in a hit and run collision at South Loop 289 and University Avenue.

Police listed him as Joshua Allen Noble. Noble was pronounced dead at University Medical Center.


The following is a statement from Lubbock Police:

The victim in this morning’s hit and run has been identified as 20-year-old Joshua Allen Noble. His next of kin has been notified.

After the collision, police arrested Casey Baker, 38, of Lubbock at 66th Street and Avenue P. His charges were listed as intoxication assault and failure to stop and render aid. He was held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on bonds totaling $60,000.
