Around 8 p.m. a multiple car accident was reported at 98th Street and University Avenue Friday.
A photojournalist on the scene said there are at least four cars involved in the crash.
Lubbock Police and Fire Rescue are currently responding to the scene.
A witness said it appeared two cars were racing down University when the crash happened. However, those details have not been confirmed.
No reports of injuries at this time.
LPD is currently trying to clean up the road from the crash.
