Lubbock Police Desk said an individual was hit by a vehicle at about 10:45 p.m. Saturday.
Scanner reports said it happened on the eastbound access road of the Marsha Sharp Freeway near University Avenue. However, officials have not confirmed any other details yet.
A photojournalist in the area said Lubbock Police and EMS are both on scene.
Police said the victim was taken to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
