Lubbock Power and Light crews have restored power to nearly all customers affected by Friday evening’s inclement weather.
However, LP&L said lingering damage from the storms was still causing sporadic outages Saturday morning in various locations around the city.
Crews worked continuously in the field since Friday night to fix damaged equipment.
LP&L crews will remain on alert throughout the weekend as more thunderstorms are expected.
