The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Wreck ‘Em Tech Athletics Breakfast will be held Tues., Aug. 21 at 6:30 a.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
This breakfast will kick off the 2018 Texas Tech University fall sports programs. Guest speakers include Head Football Coach Kliff Kingsbury; Women’s Volleyball Coach Tony Graystone; Women’s Soccer Coach Tom Stone; and Track & Field / Cross Country Coach Wes Kittley.
“We would not be able to achieve our success without the support of the Lubbock community,” said Texas Tech Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt. “We are blessed to have such unwavering support and commitment.”
The doors open at 6:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 7 a.m. Tickets are $45. Chamber members receive a discounted price of $35. Reservations may be made on LubbockChamber.com or by calling the Lubbock Chamber office at (806) 761-7000. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Fri., Aug. 17.
“The Chamber is excited about expanding our breakfast this year to include football, cross-country track, volleyball and soccer,” said Chairman Cory Powell. “It will be fun to hear from all four coaches and to help celebrate the start of their seasons. We hope everyone will join us and show the business community’s support for our Wreck ‘Em Tech Athletics Breakfast.”
