The Lubbock County Democratic Party will host a candidates banquet for all the statewide and local candidates on Friday, January 19th in Lubbock. We would like to extend an invitation all those running for office in the Democratic Primary to please come and speak. Democrats from around West Texas and the Panhandle come to hear from our statewide candidates in particular, whereas many they may not otherwise.
We are proud to announce we will have with us Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa; candidates for Governor, Jeffrey Payne, Andrew White, and Tom Wakely; candidates for Lt. Governor, Mike Collier and Michael Cooper; candidate for Commissioner of Agriculture, Kim Olson; candidate for Comptroller of Public Accounts Joi Chevalier; candidates for Railroad Commissioner, Roman McAllen and Chris Spellmon; candidates for Texas Supreme Court Hon. Steve Kirkland, Hon. Ravi K. Sandill, and Kathy Cheng; candidate for Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Hon. Maria Jackson.
