The following is a news release from Lubbock ISD:

The Coronado High School, Estacado High School and Monterey High School football teams will enter the playoffs this week with their first round of games.

The Estacado Matadors will face Clint Mountain View at Pecos High School, 1302 S. Park St., on Thursday, November 16 at 7 p.m. The game can also be heard on KKAM-AM – 1340.
The Monterey Plainsmen will travel to Amarillo on Saturday to play Amarillo High School at Dick Bivins Stadium, 800 S. Marrs St. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. and radio coverage will be on KKCL-FM 98.1.

The Coronado Mustangs are also playing on Friday at 8 p.m. in Canyon at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium, on the West Texas A&M University campus, against Canyon Randall High School. The game can be heard on KONE-FM 101.1.

Advance tickets for the Coronado and Monterey football games may be purchased at the Lubbock ISD Athletics office, 1628 19th St. Adult tickets for the Monterey game are $8 and student tickets are $3 if purchased in advance; $10 if purchased at the gate. Adult tickets for the Coronado game are $5 and student tickets are $3 if purchased in advance; $7 if purchased at the gate.

Tickets for the Estacado game are not available in advance, but may be purchased at the gate. The cost is $4 for adults and $2 for students.
