Lubbock man punished for making child porn videos, images

Anthony Eudean Woollis, 53, was sentenced to 17 and-a-half years in federal prison for production of child pornography.  He was also ordered to serve 10 years of supervised release after the prison term.

Court records said Texas Department of Safety officers executed a search warrant of Woollis’ home in the 300 block of Avenue X in 2017.  Officers were looking for, and found, drugs.  But they also seized his phone.

A search of the phone revealed sexual images and videos of a girl who appeared to be less than 18 years old.

Separately, a charge was filed against Woollis for a sexual assault of a child because the video showed him touching an underage girl in the phone video.

Woollis later admitted he took a video of himself touching the girl’s private parts. He also pleaded guilty in January to the child pornography charge.

Woollis was still held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on Friday, and the sexual assault charge was still pending.
