Luke Aaron Long, age not listed, of Lubbock accepted a plea agreement Friday in federal court for possession of child pornography.
In October of 2017 a detective with the Plano Police Department was investigating child pornography on the BitTorrent network. Court records said the detective used a peer-to-peer connection to download an image of an underage girl standing nude in a river. Court records said the Internet connection came back to an address in the 5800 block of 95th Street.
In March, FBI agents conducted a search warrant of Long’s residence and confiscated his laptop computer. The same image was located on the laptop.
Court records said this is not a “complete accounting of all the facts and events” but is enough to factually support the plea deal.
If a federal judge accepts the plea deal, then Long will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 10 years in prison.
