Anthony Rincon Gonzalez, 36, of Lubbock was sentenced last week to 20 years in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.
Court records said in July of 2018 a sheriff’s deputy tried to pull over Rincon-Gonzalez in a residential area for a bad brake light. The chase was described as “high speeds through a residential neighborhood.” Rincon-Gonzalez ran several stops signs, court records said.
The chase ended when Rincon-Gonzalez crashed the car into a fence. He had two juveniles with him when the chase started. One jumped out during the chase.

Officers seized more than $5,000 cash, a handgun and roughly 1,300 grams of meth from Rincon-Gonzalez. He admitted that much meth was not for his personal use, but he was distributing it.
