On Tuesday, the Lubbock Police Department arrested Alex Jordan Flores, 20, who was wanted in connection to a shooting that happened July 4, 2017.
Flores turned himself in before 5 p.m. Tuesday. An arrest warrant was issued for Flores on July 12, 2017.
His bond is set at $50,000, according to LPD.
“Lubbock Police were called to the Park Apartments in the 5400 block of 50th street, just before 4:00 a.m. on July 4th, following reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 17-year-old Andrew Ramirez, with a gunshot wound. Ramirez was taken by EMS to UMC with life-threatening injuries,” LPD said in a statement.
