Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Monday morning at a Central Lubbock hotel.
The incident was reported around 2:55 a.m. at the Red Roof Inn, located in the 6600 block of Interstate 27.
According to Lubbock Police, an individual wearing a Scream mask, as seen in the movie, walked into the hotel.
The suspect approached the front desk, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money.
The suspect then fled the scene, possibly in a white minivan that was seen circling the parking lot during the robbery.
The robbery suspect and the suspected driver have not been located at this time.
The suspect who entered the hotel wearing the mask was described as weighing approximately 170 to 190 pounds and about 5’ 7 to 5’9 in height.
