LUBBOCK, Texas — One person was injured after a shooting at a South Lubbock hotel on Friday morning.
The Lubbock Police Department tweeted they were on scene of a shooting off of South Loop 289, according to the LPD twitter page.
Police responded to the scene about 7:43 a.m. at Hotel Ava, located at 3201 South Loop 289. They confirmed one person was injured and taken to the hospital.
Two other people were also taken into custody, both of them for outstanding warrants, according to police.
The shooter remained at large Friday.
