The Lubbock Police Department is proud to announce it is teaming up with Nancy Lieberman Charities and WorldVentures Foundation to bring the first Dream Court to the City of Lubbock.

Dream Courts are designed to foster relationships between officers and the communities they serve. This state of the art space will help to provide that bridge and allow the Lubbock Police Department to grow those relationships.

On Monday, August 28th, 2017, the Lubbock Police Department would like to invite the community to a ribbon cutting, which will take place at noon, at Mae Simmons Park, located at 2004 Oak Avenue. The ribbon cutting will be followed by a shoot-around between youth, Lubbock Police and Texas Tech University athletes.

Emceeing the event will be Texas Tech Men’s Basketball Head Coach, Chris Beard.

Court Donors include David Campisi, Campisi’s Italian Restaurant; 4ORE!; Reagor Dykes Auto Group & First United Bank.

Attendees include Assistant Chief of Police, Jon Caspell; City Councilwoman, Shelia Patterson Harris; U.S. Representative, Jodey Arrington & Basketball Hall-of-Famer and two-time Olympian, Nancy Lieberman.
