“Serving wholesome food and drinks that restore the body goes beyond the industry buzzwords,” said Kandy Fletcher, The Watering Well Eatery founder and president. “Serving unadulterated food requires diligent research and passion, but eating truly clean food can have a dramatic impact on one’s life.”
Upon entering The Watering Well, the combination of natural design elements such as wood tables and a calming water feature creates an inviting and peaceful atmosphere for guests. This unique eatery is the perfect space to gather or retreat from the busyness of life.
“After experiencing hurt and devastation in my personal life, drinking from the Living Water was my inspiration for The Watering Well Eatery,” said Fletcher. “We are excited to serve the people of Lubbock and provide a place for the community to renew their mind, feed their body, and restore their soul.”

About The Watering Well Eatery
Passionately dedicated to serving clean and crave-able food, The Watering Well Eatery opened its doors in December of 2017. The restaurant is a reflection of founder and president, Kandy Fletcher’s life story and experiences.
After opening Sheridan’s Custard (now J’s creamery) in 2003 in Lubbock and developing a new farm-to-fork restaurant concept in Kansas City from 2010 – 2012, tragedy struck Fletcher’s life, and it was time for healing. God’s seed was planted and Fletcher says she was inspired by “drinking from the Living Water.” At The Watering Well Eatery, you can experience live, fresh micro-greens grown by an in-house botanist along with fresh, cold-pressed juices and handcrafted coffee. The Watering Well Eatery strives to offer allergy-friendly, superfood-inspired selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
