The Texas Department of Public Safety said Orlando Contreras, 34, of Seminole lost his life in a dirt bike crash approximately 5 Miles Southwest of Seminole on March 12, 2016.
DPS said Contreras was going south on County Road 301K and lost control along a curved portion of the road Friday afternoon.
DPS said, “The motorcycle left the roadway and struck a pipe fence.”
DPS also said, “The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Seminole Memorial Hospital with serious injuries and was later pronounced deceased.”
The speed limit along that stretch of highway is 60 miles per hour according to DPS, and conditions were dry and clear at the time.
