Janet Wright was found safe Thursday night.
She was located in El Paso.

The Lubbock Police Department is currently asking for the public’s help in locating 79-year-old Janet Wright. Investigators are concerned for Wright’s safety due to a medical condition.
She was last seen at UMC visiting a family member on the evening of Wednesday, September 5th. This afternoon, around 2:30 p.m., a friend reported her missing after they were unable to contact her.
Officers immediately began searching for Wright but have not been able to locate her. It’s possible she is driving a 2002 white, 4-door Toyota Camry with the license plate GVT 3111.
Wright is a white female with white hair and blue eyes. She is 5-foot 3-inches and weighs approximately 150 pounds.
