A motorcycle and a vehicle collided Friday evening near 15th Street and Avenue Q.
The motorcyclist was alert when he was taken by EMS to University Medical Center, according to the Lubbock Police Department.
There is no update on his condition at this time, LPD said.
LPD is still on scene. A photojournalist said the driver of the car appears to be at the crash site as well.
