Grab a blanket, pack up the kids and watch a movie out under the stars! Parks and Recreation is hosting five Movie in the Park events this summer. Our second feature will be Cars 3 on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Safety City beginning at dusk or approximately 9:00 p.m. Safety City is located on the east side of Clapp Park at 46th Street and Avenue U. Originally scheduled for Hodges Community Center, the location was shifted across the park where we are better able to control the mosquitoes. Thanks to our 2018 Movie in the Park sponsors who through their generosity have made these movies possible. Families are encouraged to bring blankets or low-backed lawn chairs, snacks and mosquito spray to enhance their viewing experience. Admission is free. A complete list of the movies with our sponsors is located below:
