Grab a blanket, pack up the kids and watch a movie out under the stars! Parks and Recreation’s final Movie in the Park will be Despicable Me 3 on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Rawlings Community Center. The movie will begin at dusk or approximately 8:45 p.m. Thanks to Amerigroup for sponsoring this Movie in the Park. This event would not have been possible without their support. Families are encouraged to bring blankets or low-backed lawn chairs, snacks and mosquito spray to enhance their viewing experience. Admission is free.
Rawlings Community Center is located at 213 40th Street (40th Street and Avenue B). Their regular operating hours are Monday – Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Fridays 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. For more information, call 806-767-2704.
