Police were called Wednesday afternoon to 5761 34th Street for the report of a robbery.  Police said two men robbed the store and then ran away. 

There are no reports of injuries.  There is also no suspect description yet. 

The sign out front said “M.J. Grocery Beer & Wine.”  Information on the Internet indicated that the location used to be called Cigarettes Plus.

Lubbock Police were called to 5761 34th street at 1:52 p.m. on December 27th following reports of an aggravated robbery.

Officers were on scene at 1:55 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who told police there were two suspects, one of whom had a gun and pointed it at the victim, while both suspects demanded money.

Once the victim gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects then fled the scene southbound on foot.

There were no injuries reported following the robbery.
