The Consolidated Rental Car Project at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport continues to progress. Beginning Monday, July 9 the new ready and return area for rental car customers opens just east of the entrance to baggage claim two. Reconfigured short and long term parking options also fully open to customers as construction east of the terminal ends.
Work for the Consolidated Rental Car Project continues south of the terminal, but construction is not anticipated to impact airport customers. Project completion is scheduled for September 2019.
Additional long-term, covered parking is available at the Airport Shelter Park located at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Regis Street. Shuttle service to the terminal is available from the Shelter Park. For parking rates and additional airport information, visit flylbb.com.
