Littlefield Police on Tuesday said an officer has been cleared by a grand jury concerning the deadly officer-involved shooting of Angel Uolla, 18, on March 21.
A statement from Littlefield Police said:
On April 3, 2018 the Lamb County Grand Jury was convened in special session to hear testimony regarding investigation of the officer involved shooting that occurred on March 21, 2018. A thorough investigation was conducted by the Texas Rangers.
The Grand Jury no-billed Detective Sergeant Steven Farley of any criminal wrong-doing in the incident.
The Littlefield Police Department is conducting an on-going administrative investigation.

Police found him nearby and ordered him to put down the knife.
“The suspect refused verbal commands to drop the knife and was shot by an officer,” police said at the time. Uolla died a short time later.
