The sound of polka music and the aroma of traditional German food will greet visitors
to Oktoberfest at Spirit Ranch, 701 Regis St., Lubbock on Friday, October 6th from 6:00 to 9:00
p.m. The festive event is a fundraiser benefiting local and international projects in which the
Metropolitan Rotary Club of Lubbock participates. There will also be a silent auction for those
who wish to participate.

Admission is $40 per person, which includes an ample meal, and an open bar serving beer,
wine and soft drinks. Texas Tech University’s Cowamongus Catering is providing authentic
German food for the occasion.

Llano Brass will add to the Oktoberfest ambiance with traditional polka music.

from any member of Metropolitan Rotary.

Included in service projects Metropolitan Rotary supports or has supported are Lubbock Meals
On Wheels, The Bridge of Lubbock, MOSAIC of Lubbock, Texas Boys Ranch, Dupree
Elementary School library, Westwind Elementary School, Rotary International’s PolioPlus
initiative to eradicate polio worldwide, and agricultural support grants to benefit people in the
southeast African Republic of Malawi.
