Lubbock County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man after authorities blocked off Avenue P south of 114th Street for a time Friday afternoon.
The situation started around 2:40 p.m. Friday. Charles Lee Roberts, 41, was arrested after 3:30 p.m. for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 warrant.
“Roberts ran into his residence at 1511 CR 7325. Roberts refused to come out of the residence and locked his door. The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Tactical Operations Unit arrived on scene to assist with the apprehension of Roberts,” the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office said.
Roberts was taken into custody without incident, according to LCSO, and no one was injured.
