Severe thunderstorms early Sunday morning toppled a Central Lubbock church steeple.
The damage occurred at the Faith Family Christian Church, located at 58th and Memphis.
As EverythingLubbock.com reported last week, high winds during a previous thunderstorm knocked the steeple off its base.
Shelly Swann, founding pastor, told us at the time the steeple was connected by a metal cord that attached it the building.
It was estimated the church would have to pay a $5,000 deductible to fix the crooked steeple.
There was also some minor damage to a awning on the front of the church.
